photo shoot day1

what i did - registration, steaming, breaking down houses, went to confectionary and got 15lbs of jellybeans (that was fun, i gotta go to U-ville again), went to fabric outlet store and got 45yd of beddings.
what i got scold (by Amy)

  • "just, go. too much distruction" for baby girl ... i cannot be in front of models when people do shooting since Jayce(entertainer) is already there and i would be just a bug. they need to be concentrated with her so that Deniz(photographer) can get their eye.
  • "leave them there." i was just trying to be effective by moving stuff forward but it was not what she wants. i couldn't do anything when they are making a snow scene.

anyway...today was not a big chaos. we finished at 7pm. photo shooting is easier than Souchi cuz people can speak! it's less scary than that.
i wanna be a boss who can say thank you always. ladies of cf are always saying thanks, and i should learn that.

pre-day

hey, it is Sunday! but still cf is working. and i went to work too.
what i did today is setting up toys, shoes, accessories with assigned clothes. clothes are steamed. all quilt houses and beddings are also steamed.
i went to the office with districted water (for steamer) at 10 (oh i went to the cupcake royal before and got the hoodie!), and came back 21:30. wow.
I'm excited and pleased that I can help them in some way and also I got involved with them for this photo shooting project. I am pretty sure that i can speak up with this experience and can proud of this too.

shopping

everybody in downtown is running sale! Nordstrom is doing fall season sale. it is amazing! i found one very very cute shoes that are gray, one-strap, round-toe, high-heel...$185. it is over $300 usually, so it is a good deal but still expensive. but those were super...
i got a stripe pants and a white shortsleeve tee at Banana Republic at $15 ot below. and some accessories. i was about to buy black suit but stopped. i'll think about it.
also went to Barneys first time since it came to seattle, and it was so fun but pricy! it's been a while to see those "mode" clothes and loved Marc by Marc Jacobs's shirt! even though they had a sale too, it was expensive. i tried one super lovely ring - $425!! no way :)

casting etc

there were baby twins who were so cute, but doesn't look like each other a lot since they are "one of each". i thought they will be on the catalog but Amy said that they were just okay so that they won't be on the catalog. sad.
i noticed that all the creative side or the definition of beauty are respectedly decided by Amy. when Dina says sth, Amy can deny it from her viewpoint.
all the casting is done, so all the clothes were laid down on the floor again. Amy and Dina will decide who is going to be in those shots. Dina went to her daughter Alegra(...?)'s Bday party w/ Harry Potter's new movie! i hope she'll have fun.
anyway, there will be a photographer and his assistants, a make-up stylist, and person who will entertain kids(i forgot the name of the job) to the studio which is a former office! all the models will be chosen and come, too. Amy's set will be created by maybe us! it is very exciting.

casting!

it was fun but exsausting.
Kim contacted to some model agents, the agents call models, if models available they tell Kim their names and approximate time to arrive.
I helped parents sign-in, check off the name who did come to the office, asked parents to fill out the form, measure kids, tell Amy&Dina how big they are, write the sign of kids' name which should include their number, name and agent name and should be got by the camera.
Amy&Dina pick samples for kids to try on and take their pictures and decide who is good and who is not. that depends on their size, their smile, and samples' sizes. I assume that they are selecting kids right now that is 10pm. (I left the company 7:30pm but they seemed to work a lot more - wow, i worked 12hrs today!)
I think i did a nice job today cuz i was pretty flexible. I like assisting people expecially at 現場. i love running around those kinda place. and also I can make a big smile for parents and kids. I think I am very 外面のいい person - i think it's good for customer service industry.
I told Dina that I'll leave 8/22, and she understood me. and i don't know why but she kept saying i'm doing great!(i think this is because today was the real first day to work with her). finally i got a necklace from her daughter :D it is very pretty. I am so glad.
